Warm Crab Dip

At the Under The Sea baby shower, the warm crab dip was a huge hit! It is so easy, and would make a great dip for this weekend's Super Bowl parties too.


Here's the recipe:

-1 can fancy lump crab meat
-1 package (1.5 cups) shredded Swiss cheese
-1 8oz package of cream cheese (I used reduced fat)
-1/3 cup mayonnaise (I used reduced fat)

Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl, saving about 1/4- 1/2 cup of Swiss cheese for the top . Preheat the oven for 350 degrees. Spoon ingredients into a heat save dish, and then spread the remaining Swiss cheese on top. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until top of cheese starts to brown. Serve warm with your favorite crackers.

For an extra little twist, you can add 1 tsp Old Bay seasoning or creole seasoning for a little kick. Even a sprinkle of paprika will liven it up a bit. Just watch you don't put too much or it might turn out a little salty.
